VIDEOCELLS “Application of Femtocell Technology to the video distribution for 3G/LTE/4G terminal”

The main purpose of this project is the development of a platform that provides video and television distribution services through IP (IPTV) for 3G/LTE/4G terminals using femtocell-based technology. The customer of these services is based on the HTTP Adaptive Streaming (HAS) technology and consists of a set of modules that are responsible for the selection, request, receipt, buffering and playback segments in which the multimedia content is divided in depending on the characteristics of the scenario in which transmission occurs.
